We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.

The Oswego City Concert Band and Jazz Band concert schedule has been announced for this summer. An Oswego tradition for almost 80 years, these free Wednesday night concerts overlook beautiful Lake Ontario, while providing an enjoyable evening for the young and young at heart.
The concert band, under the direction of Trevor Jorgensen, will be performing on June 25, July 2 and 16 and August 6 and 13. The band performs traditional marches, overtures, and other classic band literature, along with music from Broadway musicals and film.
The Jazz Band, under the direction of Stan Gosek, will take the stage on June 9 and 30, and August 20. These concerts feature the music of the greatest “Big Bands” of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glen Miller and Benny Goodman, along with contemporary groups such as Maynard Ferguson and others.
All concerts are at Breitbeck Park and begin at 7:30 p.m., except the August dates, which will begin at 7 p.m. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
The concerts are sponsored by the City of Oswego, with additional funding provided by the Music Performance Trust Fund and Oswego County Musicians Union, local 267-441.
