Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
We are thrilled to continue sensory friendly hours at CMOO! Pre-registration is required. To reserve your spot email STEM@cmoo.org with the number of people attending.
During this time the museum will cap the number of visitors, will reduce noise, and will turn off some blinking exhibits. Noise reducing headphones, slant boards, and wiggle seats will also be available (and are always available in the museum). Special learning experiences and designated quiet spaces will be set up throughout the event.
Sensory friendly hours are intended to be for people of all ages with a sensory processing disorder, with autism, or any person who might struggle with crowds, lights, and noise. Please note that each child is allowed one free aide or family member. All additional adults will be charged admission.
