Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
RESCHEDULED TO 9/14 DUE TO RAIN.
Join us for a day of archaeological investigations at Fort Brewerton! Since finishing up the blockhouse # 4 hearth feature last year, we got a glimpse under the burned floor to the northeast. The plan, weather permitting, is to continue this path to the blockhouse wall, whatever trace of that remains. Current Fort Brewerton Historical Society members are welcome to assist and all members of the public are welcome to observe. Please message us if you plan on volunteering to assist in the dig. Our backup day if the weather is not good is the 14th of September.
The blockhouse will not be open to tours.
In October, we will also be excavating during the fall encampment, on the weekend of 12-13th, weather permitting.
