Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Come out to learn more about the woman behind the legend – Dr. Mary Edwards Walker: activist, trailblazer, Civil War surgeon and, so far, the only woman to receive a U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor – as the fascinating one-woman show, “Independence: The True Story of Dr. Mary Walker” comes to Oswego County this fall.
This show is also sponsored by ARTSwego and will take place in Auditorium Room 132 of SUNY Oswego's Marano Campus Center. Admission is free. Reserve your seat here.
“Independence: The True Story of Dr. Mary Walker” is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the New York State Governor, the New York State Legislature and the Oswego County Legislature.
