Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The environmental educator will lead the program and guided hike, Discovering Animal Tracks along the way. Come investigate the woods to discover how animal tracks and traces reveal varying habits, physical characteristics, and interactions about wildlife. Following a presentation, the group will go outside and search throughout the nature preserve for animal signs and be able to determine which animal was in the area. While there is no guarantee of snow, tracks can be discovered in many places and in many ways, such as tracks in the mud or rubbings from deer antlers. The program will still take place if it is raining or snowing, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
The fee for this program is only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free! The recommended age for this program is 5+. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.
