Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Embrace the winter in Oswego County with fun-filled, guided snowshoe hikes through the nature preserve! These family-friendly programs are perfect to explore the outdoors, learn about nature, and enjoy the beauty of winter in an exciting environment.
Led by the Center’s environmental educator, participants will learn how to use snowshoes, spot animal tracks, and discover the hidden wonders of the forest.
Designed for all skill levels and ages. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight if you plan to attend an evening hike.
It's advised to wear winter boots or winter shoes that are flat, so they can easily be strapped in.
Register here (requested). The fee is $4 per person, $12 for a family. Under 3 are free.
