Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Flotsam is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, giving free performances in waterfront towns along the way.
We'll be performing at Henley Park, just in front of the docks. Just look for the most unusual 'boat' on the river — that's us!
Our show is family-friendly but intended for audiences of all ages. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and come early for a good spot!
The show is free to attend, but we keep this crazy project afloat through donations. If you can afford it, we suggest a contribution of $10–$25 per person. Cash is welcome, or you can Venmo us at @rivercircus. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all donations are tax deductible.
Phoenix is just one stop on our 2025 Erie Canal and Hudson River tour. In conjunction with the Bicentennial of the Erie Canal, we’ll be traveling over 600 miles and performing in dozens of towns, all the way to New York City!
