Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Designed for youth ages 5 to 12, with older youth welcome to attend, Chickadee Kids introduces participants to the fascinating world of birds through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.
This program offers a unique opportunity for children to connect with nature, learn about local bird species, and develop an appreciation for wildlife in a fun and interactive setting. While space is limited, registration is open to all youth—residency in Oswego County is not required.
The fee to participate is $15 per youth, if the youth is not previously enrolled in the Oswego County 4-H Program. Advance registration is required to attend. Please register at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/Chickadeekids_235.
