However, the topic is often one of the most misunderstood, creating a stigma preventing many from seeking assistance and leaving concerned family and friends without the knowledge to offer effective support. This conversation will provide a working definition of substance abuse and addiction, the opportunity to explore addiction dynamics, and how we all play a role in promoting hope and recovery.
