Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
2025 Lantern Tour Tickets are here! This year's theme is "Bad Romance." Accompany our costumed guides on a candle-lit walking tour around the Fort Ontario property, where we tell true stories of love-gone-wrong from the Fort's past.
Tickets are $20 and available for the following Wednesdays at 7:00 PM: September 24 and October 1, 8, 22, and 29. To purchase, stop in the museum shop during operating hours through October 13 or call (315) 343-4711.
Tours include approximately 1 mile of walking - outside, rain or shine, after dark, over sometimes uneven terrain. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate walking shoes.
Advanced ticketing recommended. Not recommended for children under 13 - stories have adult themes including infidelity, domestic dispute, violence, murder, and suicide.
