We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Vince O'Neil Wild Mushrooms Festival (Lysander)

Join members of the Central New York Mycological Society for an afternoon dedicated to wild mushrooms. Come learn about edible and poisonous mushrooms, as well as their important role in the forest ecosystem as parasites, pathogens, and decomposers. Activities include a mushroom display; mushroom identification by experts; and mushroom themed items and books for sale.
Guided hikes will take place at 1 PM and 2:30 PM. Walks are limited to the first 25 registrants. Registration for walks opens at 10 AM on Saturday, October 5; call 315-638-2519 to register.
Free with park admission.
