We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Community members are invited to roll up their sleeves and help restore two beautiful natural areas in our region! This is a rewarding opportunity to connect with nature, meet fellow conservation enthusiasts, and make a lasting impact—one plant at a time.
Plantings are intended to restore areas where invasive species have been removed as part of a multi-year restoration initiative being led by the St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (SLELO PRISM) and The Nature Conservancy.
Note that this site requires a 1-mile walk through sandy conditions, which will take approximately 30 minutes in each direction. Plantings will occur within the dunes and riparian areas of Deer Creek.
Registration is required to attend; no experience is needed, and tools and guidance will be provided.
