Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
With the changing of the seasons comes exciting news: baby chicks will return to the Oswego Public Library on Friday, April 3rd!
Join a Care and Handling of Chicks session at 11:00–11:45 AM or 1:00–1:45 PM to learn about the chicks, discover what hens they'll become, and practice safe handling. After the session, you'll have a chance to hold one of our chicks. The event will be held on the library's main floor.
If you are interested in adopting part of our flock or starting your own backyard coop, please speak to a library staff member during a session to learn more about the process and discuss caring for backyard chickens in Oswego.
