Navigating the Calendar

We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.

  • To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
  • Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
  • You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Global Awareness Conference.

Conference, themed "Solutions to Inequality," gives students, faculty, staff and members of the community an opportunity to learn about other cultures and global issues. Many presentations, including the keynote speaker at 7 p.m.; Amber Greening, CNY coordinator for the Peace Corps, "Beyond Sun, Sand and Sea: Conservation and Community on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts" at 1 p.m.; Laura Wade, Syracuse belly dancer at 1 p.m.; speaker Vanessa Johnson on "Africa Bound: Know Your Neighbor-Know Yourself" at 1:30 p.m.; and "Bollywood Dance Mania," Rochester-based dance troupe, at 3:30 p.m.
