We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.

  • To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
  • Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
  • You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Wreath for Wildlife Program

The holiday decorating season is here, but not everyone remembers the feathered and furred forest friends around their homes during the preparations. It is not too late or early to get started by attending Wreaths for Wildlife at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center on Sunday, December 7, 2014 starting at 2:00 pm. Participants will be constructing beautiful outdoor holiday evergreen wreaths that are garnished with nutritious treats for cardinals, woodpeckers, squirrels and other woodland friends. Space is limited for this program and pre-registration is required. It is recommended that program attendees bring needle nose or regular pliers and a hammer, wand wear garden gloves. The fee for this special program is $12.00 per wreath. There is a limit of two wreaths per family.
