Would you like to compete some day on “Top Chef?” Get your start at the Oswego Public Library’s latest “Learn To” session sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Culinary Arts teacher Bill Steele will instruct participants on how to use a chef’s knife like a professional on Tuesday, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Library. The class will include information on how to select knives, how to clean and store kitchen knives, and proper knife cutting techniques.
Those interested in signing up for the class will need to bring a 9-inch or 10-inch chef’s knife, one kitchen dish towel, a cutting board and a plastic bowl to the class.
The Culinary “Learn To” session is the latest in a series of class events organized and sponsored by the Friends of the Oswego Library. The class is free of charge. Those who wish to attend must sign up at the library, or call the library to sign up: 315-341-5867.
