Boston-based band The Adam Ezra Group returns to the Oswego Music Hall's National Stage this Saturday night, March 22.
After an outstanding debut at the Music Hall in January of 2024, the band was asked back once again to headline on Veterans Outreach Night.
The Adam Ezra Group will be joined by area artist Craig Anderson and his wife Kelly Bargabos, who will have paintings and books on display and for sale from their exhibit "Homelessness In America - In Scene and Story." The powerful exhibit features a painting of a homeless vet. Syracuse area outreach organization Clear Path For Veterans will also have representatives in attendance with information on programs and opportunities for veterans.

The Adam Ezra Group has a long history of advocacy and activism. The self-described "road warriors" have hosted a music festival in Massachusetts for fifteen years through their nonprofit, RallySound.org. "The Ramble is a pretty special event," said Adam Ezra. "Our friends all donate their time to play, and in 2024 we raised $150,000 for the New England Center and Home For Veterans."
"As well as being one of our highest-attended shows last spring, The Adam Ezra Group's focus on veterans issues and homelessness makes them the perfect performers to have onstage for this special night," said Tom Lambert, Music Director at the Oswego Music Hall. "We're very excited to have Adam and the band join Craig Anderson and Kelly Bargabos and Clear Path for Veterans in a meet and greet beginning at 6:30 pm on the night of the show." Lambert also said that proceeds from the sale of Anderson and Bargabos' books and paintings the night of the show will be donated to Clear Path for Veterans.
Ezra said that the band will be joined by a guest musician this weekend. "Our bass player, Poché Ponce, is having some tendon issues and has to take it easy for a bit," he said. "We reached out to a young musician, Nashua Robb, from central New York, and he's going to play all of our shows this weekend." Robb will join guitarist and lead singer Adam Ezra, violinist Corrina Smith and drummer Alex Martin for an evening of original and entertaining folk rock.
"We see activism at many of our tour stops," Ezra continued. "Oftentimes it's for local food pantries, but veterans organizations are near and dear to our hearts. We love to see communities supporting each other, and music is a big tool for bringing people together."
The nonprofit, all-volunteer Oswego Music Hall is located inside the historic McCrobie Civic Center at 41 Lake Street in Oswego. Tickets for the 7:30 pm show are available at www.OswegoMusicHall.org or at The River's End Bookstore in downtown Oswego.
The Oswego Music Hall also holds an Open Mic Night on the Friday prior to their National Stage events. The guest host for the Friday, March 21 Open Mic is Syracuse Artist/Guitarist/Vocalist/Songwriter/Human - Neil Minet. Signups begin at 6:30 pm with performances at 7:00 pm.
