Write a commentIntroducing… Bear! This 2 year old male Labrador mix is an abandoned pup who has been on a difficult journey for most of his life. Bear originated in Texas and was pulled from a shelter there and put on a transport to New York.
Not all of the details of Bears life are clear but we do know that he spent some time at a shelter in Syracuse from which he was once adopted. He spent a few months with his new family but they ultimately abandoned him as well. A relative of his adopted family contacted the Humane Society and asked us to help Bear and ensure that his next landing spot would be his forever spot.
Considering his journey, Bear is an incredibly patient and loving dog. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is very gentle with children. Bear needs a family and yard of his own. He is neutered and microchipped.
