Write a commentBuddy is a kitten we rescued from a feral situation back in October with his brothers and sister. We have spent several months socializing with them and encouraging positive human interactions. His 3 siblings are wonderful, playful and friendly, and all ready for their forever homes. But what about Buddy?
Buddy is very handsome, but still a scared little boy, he hides from all human interaction. He engages with his siblings when humans are not around, but he is just one of the few that have a different set of needs. What does Buddy need? Buddy would make a great barn cat-- a place where he'll stay warm and safe, away from scary humans.
Sometimes, cats, and even kittens, from feral environments are just not meant to be cuddly house-pets. This happens from time to time, but it certainly doesn't mean Buddy can't have a safe, warm place to call home.
He is approximately 6 months old now, up-to-date on vaccines and will be neutered at the end of this month. If you have a working barn where he could stay while you provide food and water, we could loan you a jumbo dog crate to use while he gets used to his new home. It takes at least two weeks. He knows how to use a litter box. He will help you with rodent control and he will never beg to come in the house.
