Obituaries

     Alger D. Johnson, 79, a resident of Oswego, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Oswego Hospital.

     Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Orville and Leona (Mitchell) Johnson.

     He was a senior technician for the New York State Department of Transportation until his disability.

     Surviving are his wife, Rosanna (Howard) Johnson; two daughters, Linda (Chuck) Cummins, of Sterling, and Roseanne (John) Himes, of Parish; three sons, David (Linda) Trippany, of Fulton; Edward Johnson, of Sterling and Jack (Tracy Allen) Johnson; a brother, Harold (Arlene) Johnson, of Oswego Center; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be private.
     There are no calling hours.
