Write a commentAlice L. Woodworth, 85, of Oswego and formerly of Rochester passed away Tuesday evening at Morningstar Care Center.
She was born in the Town of Oswego and was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Esther Cole Woodworth, Sr. Miss Woodworth taught school for many years in Pittsford, NY and returned to the Oswego area following her retirement. She was a member of the South West Oswego Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother Charles "Hargie" Woodworth of Oswego Town and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers Calvin Woodworth, Neil Cole, Leslie Cole and one sister Olive Rozmus.
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling ours. Burial will take place in Fairdale Cemetery.
Miss Woodworth had requested that friends and family say a prayer at one's own church or perform an act of kindness in her memory.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
