Angeline Santore, 96, of Oswego, died Thursday September 3, 2015 in Seneca Hill Manor.
Mrs. Santore was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Arena) Zappala. Mrs. Santore retired in 1962 from General Electric in Syracuse. She was a former member of the Legion of Mary, and is a communicant of St. Joseph Church,
Oswego. Mrs. Santore was predeceased by her husband Carmen Santore, her son Paul Santore, and siblings Morris Zappala, Jenny Rookey, Helen Battiato, Sally Manasseri, and Rose Manasseri.
Mrs. Santore is survived by her children Robert (Kate) Santore of Syracuse; Joanne (Michael) Segretto of Oswego; Jane (Paul) Santore-Talbot of Baldwinsville; Marian (Steve) Bischof of IN; and daughter-in-law Judy Santore of FL. She is also survived by her siblings John (Alice) Zappala of Oswego; Sam (Ginny) Zappala of Oswego; and 8 grandchildren Paul (Karyn) Santore, Lisa (Joe) Miller, Stephanie Segretto, David (Michelle) Henderson, Jonathan (Ashley) Bischof, Ann Bischof, Robert Santore, and Nathaniel Santore, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 8:30 a.m. from the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, and 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church.
Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
