Auditions for "While the Lights Were Out" Start June 28

The Oswego Players announce auditions for their September production, Jack Sharkey’s “While the Lights Were Out.”

Auditions will be held on Friday, June 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Francis Marion Brown Theater on Barbara Donahue Drive in Oswego.

There are parts for eight women and five men aged 20 to 60. The audition will be a cold read from the play script.

Rehearsals begin Tuesday, July 23 and continue every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

“While the Lights Were Out” is an astounding and hilarious murder mystery. It’s plot twists furiously with a final solution involving a bizarre motive.

Show dates for “While the Lights Were Out” are planned for September 6-8 and 13-15. The production will be directed by Sherri Metz and presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
