Audrey J. Davis Pelligra, 77, of Camillus, and a long-time resident of Oswego, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services, in Oswego.
She was born in Auburn and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Vera Terpening Williams.
Audrey worked at the Oswego Hospital as an LPN on the fourth floor and in the Physical Therapy Department for more than 20 years.
After the death of her first husband, she moved to Syracuse, where she met and married Sonny Pelligra.
She worked as his secretary for Pelligra Transport Moving Co. for more than 15 years. She was an avid golfer, loved to travel and spend time in her Myrtle Beach home. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and dancing. She was always the life of the party. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by three sons, Mark A. (Melanie) Davis, Peter R. Davis and Matthew M. Davis, all of Oswego; a daughter, Robin A. (Nick) Gambino, of Oswego; three stepsons, Michael (Kim), Mark (Tricia) and Chris (Diane) Pelligra; two brothers, David Williams, of California, and Dudley Williams, of Camillus, one sister, Brenda (Jack) Gabriel, of Camillus; seven grandchildren, Meadow Davis, Mitchell Davis, Mark Davis, Nicole Gambino, Cristina (Lloyd) Norton, Kelly Gambino and Amanda Davis; and one great-grandchild, Nicasio Norton.
She was predeceased by first husband, Peter R.H. Davis, in 1984; and her second husband, Rosario "Sonny" Pelligra, in 2009. .
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Dec. 15, at the Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, in Fairmount. .
Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church in Audrey's name.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., in Oswego.
