Write a commentBarbara A. Chatterton, 69, a resident of the Dutch Ridge Road in the town of Scriba, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at the Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Vickery) Wallace, and was a life resident.
Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Oswego High School, and was an avid NASCAR fan. She also enjoyed camping, feeding the wild life, and spending time with family and friends.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.
She is survived by her husband, Paul “Buddy” Chatterton of Scriba; a daughter, Deanne (William) Burke of Scriba; three brothers, David Wallace of Scriba, Richard (Gloria) Wallace of Scriba, and Douglas (Connie) Wallace of Scriba; two sisters, Raejean Wallace of Scriba, and Michelle (Richard) Smith of Central Square; a grandson, Michael Burke of Scriba; a sister-in-law, Donna Vescio of Oswego; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Friday, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
At her request, there will be no calling hours.
