Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Bernice (Culeton) Familo.
Barbara enjoyed her time at Brennan’s Beach, playing games, birthday parties, crafting, movies, spending her winters in Florida and her summers in Oswego. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband, David; her daughters, Mary Beth Beckwith of Oswego and Amy (Matt) Fiorentino of Manlius; her son, David (Elizabeth) Morgia Jr. of Oswego; her nine grandchildren, Emily (Sarah Birnie) Beckwith, Matthew (Julie) Beckwith, David Morgia, Dylan Morgia, Derek Morgia, Drake Morgia, Isabella Fiorentino, Matthew Amato Fiorentino, Lila Fiorentino; her sisters, Carol (Bill) Eusepi of FL, Mary Jane (Ralph) Lobb of Oswego, and Joanne (Robert) Barker of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, George T. Familo.
Calling hours will be held, 4-7 pm, Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30, Thursday, at St. Paul’s Church in Oswego.
Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
