Write a commentThe New York State United Teachers endorses Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I,Ref--Pulaski) for the 120th Assembly District seat in the upcoming Nov. 6 election.
NYSUT represents more than 600,000 classroom teachers and other school employees and retirees from K-12 schools and at colleges across the state.
Barclay said he was honored to receive the endorsement.
"I'd like to thank NYSUT for their endorsement and confidence in me as the area's representative. We have great schools in our area and it is the people who work in education who make them great. I look forward to the opportunity to support their efforts, and advocate for the resources they need in Albany to build on a solid foundation of strong schools and quality education in our local schools," said Barclay.
Barclay will be on the ballot Nov. 6.
