As First Vice President, Corporate Controller, Bass will continue to oversee the Bank’s corporate accounting function and is responsible for both internal and external regulatory financial reporting, including SEC filings, for the Bank and its subsidiaries. Bass's influence extends beyond financial administration, she serves as a cornerstone in the Bank's strategic planning structure, working closely with senior management to craft and implement crucial initiatives. With her expertise and agility, Bass continues to enhance the Bank's standing in the ever-changing financial environment.
Bass joined Pathfinder Bank in 2022, initially serving as Vice President, Financial Analysis Manager before advancing to the role of Corporate Controller in 2023. Prior to these roles, Bass accumulated 13 years of valuable experience at The Bonadio Group, where she held the most recent position of Tax Principal. Additionally, Bass held the title of Tax Manager for both KPMG LLP and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Bass is a graduate of Ithaca College and State University of New York at Oswego, holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, respectively. She resides in Baldwinsville with her husband, James, their daughter Emma, and Boston Terrier, Ollie. In her spare time, Bass serves as President on the Board of Directors for Beaver Meadows Golf Club. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, travelling and golfing.
