Write a commentOn June 30th, Battle Island State Park hosted the 1st annual all Women's golf tournament.
The theme of the tournament was Oswego County Women Empowering Women. All monetary donations went to Kristina's House of Hope, a nonprofit organization. Kristina's House of Hope provides a safe place for displaced women to start over. The organization is operated by Shelly Spaziano, founder and CEO.
Tournament organizers were Sandy Shue, Lynn Kistener, Lisa Reed and Karen Hoffman.
We would like to recognize all of the volunteers, Danny Shue, Heather and Travis Stoughtenger, Theresa and Brian Austic, Sandi Gould and Dave Mirabito. Thank you, you all helped make the tournament a huge success! We would also like to thank all of the teams that came out to support a great cause, as well as those that donated a hole sponsor and gift baskets. A huge shout out to Krista Aluzzi for her guidance and amazing food from Kristen's Kitchen.
