Beatrice C. Curran, 95 lifetime resident of Oswego passed away Sunday at the home of her daughter in Spring, Texas surrounded by her family.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Lansing and Rita Murray James.
Mrs. Curran was the widow of the late George H. Curran who died December 27, 2014.
She was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church and Shrine.
Beatrice had been employed for many years as the Linen Room Supervisor at the Oswego Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters Rita (Roger) Baack of Spring, TX, Georgianna Butler of Oswego, Sister Harriet Stevens of Phoenix, Arizona four grandchildren, Wendy, Sean, Holly, Patrick, seven great grandchildren, Ashley, Hannah, Autumn, Robert, Alexes, Kodie, Patrick Jr. and one great great grandchild Athena along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded into Heaven by Son-in-laws Alan and Keith C. by grandson Keith S., and by her siblings Doris, Charles, Thomas, Harold, and Stephen.
Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption Parish and Shrine.
Calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
