Benjamin was better known as Ben and was born on August 18, 1932 in Millville, N.J. He resided in the City of Oswego for a number of years. He later moved to Orovada, NV to live with his daughter Peggy Blackburn. He was the son of the late Benjamin C. and Alice Mae (Reed) Doran.
He was a proud veteran, serving in the US Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Peggy) Blackburn of Orovada, Nevada; Betty Penfield and Mrs. John (Ann) McLaughlin Jr., both of Oswego; a daughter-in-law Joanne Doran of Dothan, Alabama; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Mrs. David (Karen) Branfield of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty L. (Paquette) Doran and a son, Benjamin F. Doran Jr. of Dothan, Alabama.
He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held privately. Burial with Military Honors will be in New Haven Cemetery at a later time.
