Beverly May Czirr, 89, a resident at St Lukes in Oswego, passed away Saturday, May 27th at Oswego Hospital where she was surrounded by her loved ones.
Beverly was born in Oswego NY, the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Haws (Laxton), sister to siblings Howard Haws and Ulah Baker.
She worked in the Floral and Bridal business for decades, owning and operating Green Thumb Bridals out of her home in Scriba where she raised her three sons; Douglas, Gary, and Rod with her husband Robert Czirr.
She was an active member of the United Baptist Church of Scriba for many years, taking part in the Choir and playing tambourine in the local Praise Band. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, hosting family holidays and weekly game nights for her and her girlfriends. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Her laughter will be missed.
She is survived by her two sons; Gary (Cheri) Czirr and Rod Czirr both of Oswego, her Sister Ulah Baker of Hannibal, her seven grandchildren; Wendi Czirr, Stephanie Czirr, Rebecca Czirr-Lloyd, Kristine Czirr, Nicole LaFleur, Amanda (Bryan) Newton, Danielle Czirr and several great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Czirr (2001) and her son Douglas Czirr (2019).
A memorial Service will take place Wednesday June 14th at 6:30pm at the United Baptist Church in Scriba. Memorial Contributions can be made to the United Baptist Church of Scriba. Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego, is in care of the arrangements.
