Bonnie L. McRae, 70 of Oswego passed away Tuesday evening with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Oswego on November 4, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys France Nearbin. Mrs. Nearbin was raised and educated locally. On December 8, 1984 she was married to Lawrence McRae. Bonnie held many positions in her life, but her greatest accomplishment was that of mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Larry McRae of Oswego, her daughters Alice (Mike) Szymanski of Granby, Kellie Thompson of Oswego, Ashley (Jason) Goodwin of Oswego, her sons, Joseph Thompson and Leonard Preeman both of Oswego, three sisters Betty (Elmore) Miller of Palermo, Jackie Ponzi of Oswego, Gladys (Ed) Woodward of Oswego, three stepchildren Theresa (Neil) Cliff of Oswego, Lawrence (Pam) McRae of Oswego, Tammy Brashier of Texas, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
Mrs. McRae was predeceased by a stepson Mark McRae, four sisters, Sally Matott, Mary Gioia, Joan Greeney and Shirley Thompson.
Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
