Write a commentOn Friday, July 14th, Recording artist Brandon Bailey is set to perform at The Sting at 9 pm as part of Lake Effect Promotions "Road To Nashville Tour."
Bailey, 30 years old, began his journey in music at the age of five. "I've been playing for 25 years now but I started singing in front of people at the age of thirteen," stated Bailey. Bailey also said that he started playing when his Dad would sit with him and play music. By the age of five, Bailey started to learn lead guitar, banjo, drums, bass and other instruments.
Throughout Bailey's career, he has found much success. Bailey broke out into the MusicRow Charts debuting at the #30 spot. "The MusicRow Charts are a step below The Billboard Charts," explained Bailey. Bailey has also opened for Eric Chruch on three separate occasions, as well as winning American Country Star Competition in Nashville in 2013. "The American Country Star Competition is like The Voice and out of 5,000 people, I won," Bailey said. Bailey has also won The Reverbnation Battle of The Bands. "This was out of 1,200 bands and allowed me to open for musicians such as Willie Nelson, Cheryl Crow, Eric Chruch, Chris Stapleton, Grace Potter and others big stars at The American Roots Festival in Raliegh," said Bailey. He has also won Southern Rock Entertainer of The Year for the last two years.
Bailey would get his big break at 25 years old with the help of Average Joe Entertainment, which is Colt Fords Label. "I wasn't signed but they gave me my foot in the door," Bailey stated.
Bailey also stated that his Father-In-Law, Wife, and Child have been his biggest inspiration for following his music career.
This is Brandon Bailey's first time performing in New York. When asked, Bailey said, "Yes sir dude! New York respects music." Bailey also said that Upstate New York "Is full of beautiful farm country. This one lake I could see the bottom!" Bailey stated that he cannot wait to perform here at Oswego, "I'm really really excited. I had no idea where it was but I was told its on Lake Ontario and that the sunset is amazing," stated Bailey.
