Bruce D. Nixon, 82 of Oswego passed away Friday morning at the Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Bruce L. and Bertha Scheinert Nixon.

Mr. Nixon served in the US Airforce.

Mr. Nixon lived for many years in New York City where he graduated from high school and returned to Oswego while in his 20’s.

He had been employed as a machine operator at Marathon Paper Co. and Papertronics.

He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. .

He was predeceased by two brothers Malcolm Nixon and Norman Nixon.

Funeral services will be 9:00AM Thursday in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
