The Oswego High School Junior Class raised the most money of the classes in the amount of $250 for pediatric cancer awareness.
The students assembled and sold gold ribbons for a strong show of support for September Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.
Junior Class Co-Advisor Tai Jackson said, "For several weeks, my junior class officers Allison Smith, president, Meredith Chesare, vice president, Kara Weiss, treasurer, and Tori Fix, secretary, along with Tara Stacy made gold ribbons as that is the color of the fight against pediatric cancer. These ribbons were sold during lunch periods throughout Spirit Week. We also had Gold/Yellow Day as one of the spirit days. We also sold them at the annual Powder Puff Game and Open House along with BucFest."
