Write a commentCarole A. Griggs, 69, a resident of Oswego passed away on October 11 at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Rose (Zayown) Clark and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. She also attended school to become an interior designer.
Carole was a RCIA teacher at both St.Mary's Church and St.Paul's Church. She also taught CCD and loved to cross stitch.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Carl Griggs, a daughter, Melissa Griggs of Oswego, a sister, Barbara O'Brien of Watertown and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 from St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00-7:00.
