Carole B. Pryor, 82 of Oswego, NY passed away March 4, 2025 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Volney, NY to the late Mary Williams and Elmer Spohn. Carole was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Pryor. Those two together were a ton of fun and had hearts as big as the outdoors.
Carole and Ronnie enjoyed snowmobiling with friends and owning a camp in Eagle Bay, NY with Rick and Mary Durfey. After retirement, they found a love for travel and set on many cruises. Carole was an excellent baker and cook. She worked many years at the Oswego Hospital, where she enjoyed the pediatric floor best.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Watkins, and step daughter, Julie Smith. She was also predeceased by brothers Roger and Frank Spohn, and a sister Georgia(Rex) Fleming.
Surviving are children; Mandy Hoyt of Daytona, FL, Michael(Jan) Hoyt of Oswego, NY, sisters; Dawn Dominic of Albion, NY and Diane Williams of Mount Joy, PA, and Chuck Davis of Oswego, NY, grandchildren; Desiree(Chris) Watkins, Emily(Sean) Hurley, Mylek(Abby) Hoyt, and RJ Hoyt, step-grandchildren; Trisha(Mike) Donlan, Stacy Driscoll, Jessica Watkins, Jolene Henderson, Justin Kinsley, and several great-grandchildren that. She loved being a Gigi.

Arrangements are being made by Dowdle Funeral Home. A spring burial at Peck Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow will be announced.
