The Oswego Players announced it is ready to begin its 75th continuous season of operation with the classic thriller, "Dial M for Murder," written by English playwright, Frederick Knott.
Director Troy Pepper, coming off a splendid production of "It's a Wonderful Life" in December, will again assume the reigns for "Dial M." The play enjoyed a successful run In London's West End and on Broadway, when Alfred Hitchcock decided to adapt the play for the big screen. It was released by Warner Bros. pictures in 1954 to much acclaim.
Pepper has carefully chosen a cast that includes Liz Ladd (Margot); Aaron Callahan (Tony); Kyle Cumby Walton (Max); Nathan Wescott (Captain Lesgate); Michael Paul Callahan (Inspector Hubbard); Zane Leo (Thompson/O'Brien); and Julia Preston-Fulton as a reporter.
Performances will be 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 8,9 15 and 16. a 2 p.m. matinee will be Sunday, Jan, 17.
