Write a commentIt is a busy weekend for Oswego State Athletics as four teams can be watched online as men's and women's basketball and men's and women's ice hockey compete. All Oswego State webcasts are free to the public. SUNY Oswego student-run WTOP Channel 10 will be producing the Oswego State webcasts.
The No. 1-ranked Laker men's ice hockey team (5-0-0, 4-0-0 SUNYAC) hosts Buffalo State (2-4-1, 1-3-1 SUNYAC) and Fredonia (4-3-0, 3-2-0 SUNYAC) on Friday and Saturday with both games starting at 7 p.m. WNYO 88.9 FM will be providing the play-by-play for the audiostreams. Friday night's game is also available on Time Warner Cable Channel 1027, which is available in the Syracuse, Binghamton, Utica, Watertown, and North Country areas.
The Laker men's and women's basketball teams hit the hardwood on Friday when they open the regular season in the Max Ziel Tip-Off Tournament. The women face SUNYIT at 6 p.m. followed by the men against D'Youville at 8 p.m.
The Laker women's ice hockey team (2-3-1, 2-2-0 ECAC West) travels to Neumann (2-1-1, 2-0-0 ECAC West) for a 7 p.m. Saturday contest followed by a 3 p.m. contest on Sunday.
