Charles Irving Usherwood, 90, of Cicero, died June 18, 2024 in Syracuse, New York.
He was born December 28, 1933 in Syracuse, New York.
Charles graduated from Valley high school in Syracuse in 1953 and after served his country in Korea. He was the founder of Usherwood Office Technology and remained as company President for more than 20 years before retiring in 1997. He was a past member of Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, New York. Charlie's wife Carol sadly passed in 2001 and Charlie leaves behind his long time partner Jane Neil of Cicero, New York.
He is survived by his four children: his two daughters Kathleen Usherwood Boyajian (Eli) of Pound Ridge, New York and Victoria Usherwood Galinas (Phil) of Alamogordo, New Mexico; his two sons: Charles (Karen) of Tampa, Florida and Louis (Kelly) of Duxbury, Massachusetts; his nine grandchildren: Jay Plyler, Caroline (Frank) Weber, Elizabeth (Ryan) Brose, Jamie Cianfrano, Carly Boyajian, Talene Boyajian, Lindsay (Peter) Usherwood, Lauren (Dan) Tartaglia, Leslie (Max) Bartell; and four great grandchildren: Charlotte, Charlie, Chloe, and James, who he loved dearly.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 27th from 4 to 8 o'clock at Butler Badman funeral home, Syracuse, New York. The family will be holding a private funeral on Friday.
