SalisburyChristina 02     Christina `Connie` Salisbury, 92, a resident of the West River Road in the town of Minetto, passed away Tuesday, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.

     Christina was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late James and Nancy Sereno. She was a life resident. She was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the counseling office of the Oswego High School. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto. She taught church school for many years, and loved spending time with children. After retirement, Christina frequently traveled to Cocoa Beach, Florida, during the winter months. She particularly enjoyed playing the slot machines at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona. More than anything else, she loved spending time with her family. Her granddaughters were the "lights of her life".

     Christina is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Salisbury of Minetto; a daughter, Maria (James) Healy of Scriba; a son, Robert Salisbury of Oswego; a sister, Virginia (Cliff) Wahrendorf of Oswego; two granddaughters, Rachel Healy and Alexa Healy; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by five brothers, Jasper, Matthew, Michael, Joseph, and James Sereno; and a sister, Helen Babcock.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Saturday, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto.

     Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

     There will be no calling hours.

     Arrangements are in care of the Dain Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
