Cidermoon Coffee has recently expanded their fresh-roasted coffee shop into a much larger building – right next door to their previous location at 170 W. First St. Stop by and check out their new digs and enjoy one of their signature coffees.
Cidermoon Coffee baked goods are delicious and unique; folks are raving about their home baked doughnuts as well as the cookies, pastries and breads all baked on site. "Their new location is so much larger and has a warm "cafe" look and feel" said one customer who took a moment to praise the new location.
"We have been growing steadily since opening just over a year ago" said Diane Dempsey, owner of the unique coffeehouse. "In order to roast the amount of coffee that we serve here and ship out worldwide, we simply had to expand."
All of Cidermoon's coffee bean are carefully chosen Arabica beans grown at higher elevations, which means they are larger, denser and richer in flavor. All of their coffee is also Fair Trade coffee and is roasted on site in a convection air drum roaster, which permits fine temperature control during the roasting process. Their signature coffees includes Kenyan AA, Ethiopian Yirgachefe, Sumatran Mandheling, Costa Rica Tarrazu and Tanzanian Peaberry.
Cidermoon is open from 6 a.m. to 6p.m., Tuesday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday. They are closed Mondays.
