Learn how to plant and prune your trees so they will live longer and be healthier. Celebrate Arbor Day by learning how to plant and prune your trees properly and planting (2) new trees.

Jim Maloney, ISA Certified Arborist, of National Grid, will be delivering a presentation at the Oswego City Library Community Room at 12pm on Saturday April 30th to discuss proper tree planting depth, mulching, and pruning.

After the presentation, we will walk over to Washington Park, practice our new skills with the City of Oswego Tree Stewards, and plant (2) new trees in honor of Arbor Day.

We look forward to you joining us!

*** Landscape Companies who attend will receive preferred status for Oswego County’s upcoming Tree Planting RFP for planting 600 trees/shrubs in Oswego County.

Please call Planning and Zoning Director, Amy Birdsall, at 315.342.8154 for more information.
