Write a commentCNY Arts Center is proud to announce local musicians Jason Bean & Gina Holsopple will share the stage for one night only, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Arts Center at 8pm. Both Jason and Gina have performed on separate occasions at the Arts Center but never together.
Jason Bean is a 3 time SAMMY nominated local singer-songwriter with a background in both theater and music. Jason is a strong vocalist with a background in theatre capable of a wide variety of musical performances. With a blend of acoustic, rock, and alternative music, Jason’s music is of a nature anyone can enjoy. Jason recorded his first EP titled, “Take Your Time”, in 2003 and has since produced 3 more albums. His live music career has earned him performances throughout the northeast.
Gina Holsopple is a soulful lyricist with a connection to her music that produces a warm, down-home feel. Gina grew up in prairie-country Kansas until she moved to Indiana to where she spent 4 years dedicated to becoming a classically trained musician. This led to some time in New York City’s East Village but alas, big city life wasn’t the right fit for Gina, and thus she has since relocated to a small town in Central New York. Gina, also a SAMMY nominee, has released 6 albums and her lyrics continue to captivate audiences. She is well-known to Central New York audiences through her performances with Oswego Music Hall.
