The works of two young composers will premiere in a free College-Community Orchestra concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at SUNY Oswego's Waterman Theatre.

The raucous romance, based on the popular fairytale "The Princess and the Pea," features a domineering queen, a mute king and a rollicking troupe of other Renaissance-era characters in this offering from the college's theatre and music departments. The annual SUNY Oswego Honors Convocation Friday, April 19, will recognize more than 100 academic achievers and feature a talk by an Oswego alumna who has built a career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The SUNY Oswego College Choir, State Singers and Festival Chorus will perform Monday, April 29, in a free public concert featuring a cornucopia of compositions spanning the 16th century to the present day.
