In a concerted effort to fortify early childhood development in the county, the Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance and Help Me Grow initiative are joining forces to host an upcoming enlightening community forum at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation.
The event, set for Monday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CiTi Stern Building, is sponsored by the Richard S. Shineman Foundation and the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York and part of the dynamic LIFT Community Conversations Forums series, aimed at elevating crucial topics within our community.
The event is free and open to the public with registration available via the CiTi website, citiboces.org.
The community forum will serve as a platform for parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals and community leaders to engage in a collective dialogue on early childhood development. Through engaging presentations, facilitated discussions, and community networking, attendees will gain valuable knowledge about the transformative work of the Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance and Help Me Grow initiative.
"Since our January kick-off, interest in the Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance has grown with a variety of community members wanting to be involved,” said Brandy Koproski, the executive director for integrated community planning of Oswego County Inc. “Growth takes time and finding a meaningful role for everybody is strategic. This forum is the next step in engaging community members for the development of the Help Me Grow initiative."
