Oswego local, Linda Shurr, re-opened her store, Remembrances Gift Basquets Shoppe, Nov. 11, 2012 after being closed for two and a half years.
The store is located at 142 W. Second St., next to CoffeeNook.
The baskets range from cookie baskets to junk food-themed baskets. The junk food basket is a popular sell. This basket contains candies, cookies, and popcorn. Custom-made baskets can also be created and make for great holiday and personal gifts.
Baskets are not the only thing Shurr sells, but also a variety of coffee, tea, clothing and other accessories.
Shurr said she closed the shoppe because of her need of a break and is currently running the business by her own availability.
"I missed my customers and I like being downtown," Shurr said. "My customers always know how to get a hold of me if I'm not at the shop,."
Easter is right around the corner, so be sure to stop into the shop today to customize your special Easter-themed basket.
