Write a commentDan E. Coffin, 75, of North Volney, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Oswego Hospital.
He was born in Oswego, and lived in the area all of his life. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed at International Paper Co. for 27 years as a machine operator, retiring in 1994.
Dan was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed camping and watching NASCAR. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Marian (Adle) Coffin; his daughter, Kendra (Kevin) O’Connor of Scriba; grandchildren Deklen and Grace O’Connor of Scriba; and brother-in-law, Paul Manning of New Haven.
He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Florence (Mazzoli) Coffin, his daughter, Kerry E. Coffin; and his sister Margaret (Coffin) Manning.
There will be no calling hours or services.
