Write a commentDavid W. Pullen, 68, of Oswego passed away at home on April 26, 2024.
David was a gentle soul who was kind and generous and loved to make people smile. He enjoyed collecting RC cars and had the most joy when maintaining them, and every-once in a while taking them out for a spin. David also enjoyed collecting BB guns and listening to country music.
He loved his small breed dogs and took the best care of them. They were his babies and he treated them as such. Each one held a special place in his huge heart.
David is predeceased by is parents Levi Richard and Doris (Taylor) Pullen, and his three sisters, Donna Mills, Nancy Pullen, and Pamela Mills.
He is survived by his two brothers Richard Pullen of Fulton, and Dennis Pullen of Hannibal, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his long-term girlfriend of almost 20 years, Gloria Pittsley, her three children whom he counted as his own, Billy and Jodie (Shoults) Pittsley, Jamie and Jennifer (Ledford) Pittsley, and Katrina and Clifford (Dygert) Pittsley. He is also survived by whom he would consider his grandchildren through Gloria’s kids, Matthew Hogan, Maggie (Hogan-Pittsley) Martin, Mackenzie (Pittsley) Longo, John Dygert, Jasmine Dygert-Pittsley, and Zacchaeus Pittsley.
There will be no calling hours at this time, but a celebration of life will take place at a later date. All other arrangements are in the care of the Dain Cullinan Funeral Home Inc.
